Stranje is a village in the hills to the northwest of Senovo in the Krško municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicted to Saint Achacius (Slovene: Sveti Ahac) and belongs to the Brestanica parish. It was built in 1494 and restyled in the Baroque style in the 18th century.[3]
